Alison Chin grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated from Georgia Tech with a BS in Information and Computer Science. She worked as a computer programmer for fourteen years, including working from home as a contractor after her oldest son was born. She became a full time mom after her second son was born, and a homeschool mom a couple of years later. Alison also served in the music ministry at various churches, including ten years as a teacher and pianist in children’s choir, and two years as a church organist. Twelve years ago, Alison and her family relocated from Atlanta to Knoxville, where she continued to homeschool her sons until graduation.
