Bonney Daves earned a Masters In Mathematics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Bonney spent 43 years teaching mathematics before retiring in 2021, after 25 years at the Christian Academy of Knoxville (CAK).  At CAK she developed and taught both levels of AP calculus, AP Statistics, Honors Pre-calculus, and AP Micro/Macro Economics. For Bonney, mathematics is a conversation rather than a statement of facts. She loves mathematics, and can't wait to talk to her students about it in a way that's engaging and dynamic. 

Bonney and her husband Phillip raised 3 girls, all of whom graduated from CAK. She also has 5 grandchildren, who light up her life. When she isn’t spending time with family, she enjoys tennis, MahJongg, reading, and working out.
