Cari Welsh holds graduate degrees from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and Liberty University in Information Sciences and Curriculum & Instruction, with cognates in Literature/Composition and History respectively. Her teaching background is rooted in classical Christian education, where she has cultivated meaningful experience working with students in grades 5 through 12. A proud Knoxville local of nearly 30 years, Cari bleeds orange and is as devoted to her Vols as she is to her students. She is passionate about helping students think critically about their world and how it fits into a much broader historical conversation — and with that passion comes a deep desire to nurture a love of truth, beauty, and goodness wherever it can be found. When she isn't in the classroom, Cari loves traveling and trekking the world alongside her husband, daughters, and parents.
