Carroll Speed is an MK from Taiwan who grew up speaking Mandarin and Taiwanese. She graduated from Mississippi College with a B.A. in German and French. Upon graduation she lived in France as a nanny for six months before returning to Taiwan to teach high school French for a year.  She then married an Air Force pilot which has had her moving every 3 years for the past 20. During this time she homeschooled her 3 children. Her husband recently retired from the military and their family relocated to Knoxville in 2019. Carroll has always loved languages and enjoys sharing that passion with others. She is very excited to be a part of the Master’s Monday community.
