Domina Farley
Domina was originally born and raised in Hong Kong and later immigrated to the States at the
age of 14. Being a deaf person, Domina has richly experienced the multi-culture of hearing and
deaf worlds in Cantonese Chinese, English, and American Sign Language. She received an
Associate's Degree from Pellissippi State Community College in Studio Fine Arts after relocating
to Knoxville, Tennessee. Domina currently works part-time at Maryville College as an ASL tutor.
Her two sons, who are beautiful blessings from the Lord, have been her inspiration for working
on her upcoming educational path toward K-12 teaching in the ASL/Art fields. She certainly
looks forward to bringing unique aspects to everyone at the co-op. As an artist, Domina enjoys
creating arts in handcraft and digital platforms. As an outdoor lover, she always seeks challenges
in exploring different hiking trails with her children.
